In August 2018, after almost six months of searching, Charles Wells was convinced that he should find HelloSelf to help people improve their mental well-being. Those who are mentally uncomfortable are supported by fully qualified clinical psychotherapists, while those who feel good receive training and support to feel even better. After Wells explored a wide range of BrainTech opportunities, including measuring brain function by looking for jobs and brain machine interfaces to control devices, Wells concluded that the pursuit of mental wellness was the problem he was trying to solve. The next step was to develop a business model that would make HelloSelf a successful company and shape its implementation strategy.
