Case Solution

Most people refer to the Epidectic style of speech, Aristotle’s third linguistic category, as the ceremonial style of speech. This style is mainly based on the language of sentiment. The other two categories of speech style are known under the terms deliberate and forensic. The conscious style is more political and persuasive and uses a mixture of the three languages โ€‹โ€‹of feeling, meaning and action; appeals first to the heart and then to the rationality of our audience. The third style, the forensic style, uses primarily the language of meaning and appeals directly to the rationality of our audience.
