It describes how Joline Godfrey, a Polaroid Corp. intrapreneur, started and developed a project that could help Polaroid focus more on service than product-centric alignment. She also describes the protected mentor relationship between Godfrey and Gerald Sudbey, a company executive. Two topics were addressed: intrapreneurship and mentor-protégé relationships. It allows students to explore the intrapreneurship process, which is what it takes to be an effective change agent in an organization. In addition, they will gain a structured understanding of mentor-protégé relationships, the various phases they go through, and the challenges and benefits they represent.
