Cisco Systems Inc. (Cisco) was a modern technology company with a culturally diverse workforce. In 2008 he initiated the plan to “establish a culture based on justice, dignity and respect, free from prejudice, discrimination and negative behavior.” However, despite these efforts, the California Department of Housing and Fair Employment filed a lawsuit against Cisco in June 2020 alleging discrimination, harassment and retaliation in the workplace due to the caste hierarchy among Indian workers in the Workplace.
