This three-part case provides the opportunity to engage students in an investigation of how intercultural considerations can influence decision-making in the areas of management, law, operations, and corporate social responsibility. The cases involve two non-profit organizations, one in the US and one in India. Both organizations focus on food redistribution, but face different challenges due to cultural, legal and logistical issues. Cases A, B and C will be implemented in a single class session. Students are given Cases A and B to read before class (including the accompanying video to Case B). Case C is distributed in class.
