Electronic Arts (EA), the world’s largest independent video game publisher, has to decide whether to support Microsoft’s online gaming initiatives. In the past, EA was platform independent and released versions of its titles for all major console platforms. However, managers have serious concerns about Microsoft’s strategy for its Xbox Live online gaming service. Sony has offered terms and conditions for Playstation2 online games that are acceptable to EA. Can EA Afford To Lose Sales On The Microsoft Platform?
