The Danish state company DONG Energy started its career as an importer and trader of gas and oil. Under the leadership of the current CEO, Anders Eldrup, the company has grown into an energy group that is present at all stages of the oil and gas value chain and, in particular, with the EU market leader in offshore wind energy. As a developer and operator of wind farms, it was one of the leading companies in the world.
