A major sports league has decided to play its first game of the season in Mexico City. When the teams arrive in the country four days before the event, two of Team A’s star players are kidnapped. Case (A) provides relevant background information on the league, team, players, and planned activities surrounding the season opener. It also describes what is initially known about the crisis situation. In cases (B) to (F), additional information will be disclosed in the course of the crisis. In either case, students are posed important issues and questions for their consideration and discussion.
