This latest document in the ADPGSI series describes the outcome of the acquisition through interviews with ADP and former GSI managers. ADP management is very satisfied with the results. ADP Europe management, especially Philippe Gluntz, has played a key role as leader and buffer between the culture and operations of ADP and GSI. During Gluntz’s tenure as president (1995-2001), much of GSI’s previous culture and relatively high level of autonomy have continued, albeit in a growth-oriented environment. Gluntz’s successor now has to decide whether and how he should continue autonomy.
